    Tax credits boosted home sales in the region during the second quarter, according to a report released Friday. Compared to last year’s second quarter, Henry County's home sales increased 19.2 percent, neighboring Pittsylvania County was up 29.9 percent, Danville was up 20.6 percent and Martinsville was down 12 percent according to a report from the Virginia Association of Realtors.
