				<description>Richard William Gilley, 62, of 105 Landmark Drive, Stuart, died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Pioneer Memorial Hospital of Stuart. He was born in Patrick Co on February 11, 1948 to the late Pat Richard Gilley and Callie Deal Gilley. &lt;br /&gt;

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Rosa Mae Cox, three brothers, Henry, Roy and Coy Gilley. &lt;br /&gt;

He is survived by two sons, Richard, Jr., and Aaron Gilley one sister, Ruby G. Witt of Patrick Springs and two brothers, Curtis Gilley of Bassett and Walter Gilley of Stuart. &lt;br /&gt;

Around 9pm that day officers responded to a 9-1-1 call for a 3 month old infant. The child was transported to Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County and was shortly thereafter transported to another hospital. It was discovered the child’s arm had been fractured. 				<title>Charges certified in BG's Express murder and robbery</title> 
				<description>A preliminary hearing for 20 year-old Dominique Q. Hylton of 904 Royal Drive, Martinsville and 26 year-old Steven O'Neal Porter of 3424 Columbus Drive, Bassett was held Friday in Henry County General District Court with Judge Morgan Armstrong presiding. Charges against Hylton was certified to a grand jury who will determine whether the evidence warrants a trial. Porter's case was taken under advisement. Both are implicated in the murder and robbery that occurred in May at the BG's Express convenience store on Chatham Heights Road. 57 year-old Nirmal Singh was shot to death and 78 year-old William Thomas was shot in the stomach and survived. A 17-year old from Martinsville is also implicated in the incident. His name has not been released because of his age.</description>
